For 30 years, AEF has been providing critical services to the San Francisco community. We enable our clients to live with greater stability and dignity during their illness and time of greatest need.

This year we are launching a year-long 30th Anniversary campaign, starting with our Parties and leading up to our Anniversary Gala and Show. Below are some quick facts about our 30th Anniversary campaign and how we will reach our $300,000 goal.

Facts about HIV/AIDS in San Francisco

• 700 new HIV cases each year
• 2,400 clients helped by AEF in 2011
• 16,000 persons living with HIV/AIDS
• AEF clients ages 20–29 has jumped from
  1 in 2003 to 120 in 2011

Party with a Purpose!

• 30 parties, February – September of 2012
• Individuals have committed to host a party on behalf
  of AEF to raise a minimum of $3,000 per party
• Party with a Purpose! will consist of house events,
  trips, small dinners, bar crawls, and other creative
  and fun parties
• Goal is to raise $90,000
• Number of people will vary (12–100) depending
  on party type
